Ages players and coaches
The tournament is for players in the age of 14 to 16 years old (U16). Coaches must be at least 21 years old. We request that every player brings an ID as there will be a random check. In case of players being outside the set age group, disqualification may follow. If you have any questions regarding age-limits, please do not hesitate to ask.
The matches are played in accordance with the current rules of the International Hockey Federation (IHF). Qualified umpires of the Royal Dutch Hockey Association guarantee a professional competition.
The standard fee per team is € 465,-. This fee covers 12 players and 2 coaches. The costs for each extra player are € 35,- and the costs for each extra coach or trainer are € 20,-. The fee is including lunch on Saturday and Sunday.
Saturday night IET party
On Saturday night there is a fun party with DJ for all players. This party is in the tent next to the clubhouse. It starts at 8pm and ends at midnight.
On Saturday evening there will be an informal gathering for coaches, trainers and umpires. This provides the perfect opportunity to mingle with fellow coaches and trainers from all over the world. We also will be present to hear your feedback and suggestions on how we can continue to improve this tournament. This gathering will take place in the clubhouse of HOD.
The payment for the tournament (remaining tournament fees, extra players / coaches, accommodation and/or transport) will be billed at the latest 6 weeks before the tournament. These too must be payed within two weeks of receipt of the invoice. No refunds will be made for changes in the number of players / coaches within 6 weeks prior to the tournament.
Teams that cancel within 8 weeks prior to the tournament have to pay the total costs, remaining tournament fees including any reservations made for extra players / coaches, accommodation and/or transport.
Payment by credit card is not possible and if we receive bank cheques as payment there will be an additional charge of € 50,- per cheque.
Throughout the tournament, the consumption of alcohol or any form of drugs on the premises is strictly prohibited. Failure to comply with this rule can result in expulsion from this tournament and exclusion from future tournaments. We respectfully request that coaches do not allow players to visit alcohol-serving establishments outside the HOD complex on their own.
First aid / physio
During the tournament first aid workers and physiotherapists are present.
In case of damages caused by participants to properties of the Harba Lorifa, the Scouting Lodge, the hockey club the host family or to property on their premises, immediate compensation, indemnity and/or reparation is imperative. We strongly advise all players and coaches to be insured for both damage and medical costs.
The IET Organization falls under the responsibility of hockey club HOD Valkenswaard. We are exclusively concerned with the organization of the tournament. In order to do this properly, we need your personal data. You can be confident that we handle your data safely and carefully.
